Coffin Island Brewing is a family-owned beer brand located in North Charleston, SC. Our beer is brewed and packaged at Tideland Brewing. At Coffin Island Brewing we strive to provide the Greater Charleston area with high quality beer.

The inspiration for Coffin Island Brewing comes from Folly Beach, which was once named Coffin Island. There are many Stories as to why and they range from a family name to tales of Pirates and murder. We fell in love with the history of Folly Beach and wanted to keep the current laid-back Folly feel but add a macabre twist. With that, Coffin Island Brewing was born.
